Rebecca
                                          Chesney’s practice examines our complex relationship with the natural world, by engaging with issues of culture, politics
                                          and power. Her work has been exhibited widely including at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Manchester International Festival, Newlyn
                                          Art Gallery, Rubin Center for the Visual Arts in Texas, Full of Noises Festival in Barrow, Springhornhof in Germany, and the
                                          Bluecoat in Liverpool. Awards include a Lucas Artist Fellowship to Montalvo Arts Centre in California, USA and a Gasworks
                                          International Fellowship to CONA in Mumbai, India.
She is currently artist in residence at Q21/MuseumsQuartier
                                          Wien, by invitation of sound art organisation TONSPUR Kunstverein Wien.
