Michel Pou Díaz, born in Havana,
Cuba in 1971, is a self-taught artist and photographer. His interest in humanity (people) has led him to explore the relations
between humankind and nature mainly through portraits and landscapes, looking for a favorable relationship for a development
based on quality and sustainability more than quantity and exploitation. His works have been exhibited both in Cuba and internationally
at the Habana Biennale, the Center for the Development of the Arts in Havana, the Pingyao International PhotoFestival in China,
ola cuba! in France.
In May 2023 Michel Pou will come to Vienna for a residency at MQ Vienna and he will have an
exhibition at SCHAURAUM of the University of Applied Arts Vienna at Museumsquartier Wien.
