Intervention from evening till morning
GRAD, URAGAN, SMERCH, TORNADO…
On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of
Ukraine. It had a direct impact on us. Our families had to leave their homes to save their lives. The war turns the territory
of Ukraine into a battlefield, in the cities and villages of the country there are many explosions due to attacks by the armed
forces of Russia.
Russia’s MLRS is almost always called a natural phenomenon: hurricane, hail, tornado, storm…
The project is embodied as a collaboration of three artists, students of the University of Applied
Arts in Vienna.
RITA KULYK
Artist was born in 1996. As a result of long term work in production
design of films her artistic practice includes works on the verge of scenography and installation.
MARK
CHEHODAIEV
Artist was born in 1997. Mark works with different mediums. Relationship in space and with space are the main
subjects in his practice, the artist often combines them. The keywords for the artist are presence and memory.
IVAN SAI
Born in 1995 in Kyiv, Ukraine. As an artist he mainly works with media art, though his practice also includes
installations and performative actions.
