Aliénor Cadiot has a doctorate in history from the EHESS (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales). She has studied in Germany, France, Switzerland and the United States. Her thesis focuses on Algerians in metropolitan France under the Vichy regime. In the future, she is interested in the intersection of administrative practices in colonial situations and in European authoritarian regimes in the 20th century.
