In this talk, Konrad Strutz will present a selection of his artistic projects and elaborate
on the specific underlying working processes as well as discuss different methodological approaches within digital artistic
practices.
His artwork is rooted in photographic methods, yet augments them with sculptural
principles and notions as well as through technology from the fields of engineering and computer science. Besides his strictly
pictorial work, he will also present apparatuses and interactive works that are reinterpretations of fundamental photographic
concepts.
Konrad Strutz is a visual artists and lecturer at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He has an academic
background in photography as well as in computer science. His artworks are exhibited on a regular basis; he is presently also
actively involved in several artistic research projects.
