Reece
Terris will focus on the creative process as related to art making. He will discuss how the process of the production
of art informs the outcome of an initial idea or inspiration.
Reece Terris is a practicing artist
living and working in Vancouver, Canada. Through his experience in the construction industry, Terris developed a strong interest
in the conceptual meanings of private and public space. Drawn to both architecture and visual art, he completed his BFA at
Simon Fraser University in Visual Art, which allowed more experimental possibilities for three-dimensional work. His artistic
practice covers a variety of media, including sculpture, performance, installation, video and photography, all of which share
a critical relation between objects and spaces. Terris`work has been exhibited throughout North America and Europe.
