The Essence 2016 University of Applied Arts Vienna is the culmination of the academic year and shows selected artistic individual
or group works by students and graduates in a large-scale exhibition in the Künstlerhaus. The works, installations, projects
and presentations from all artistic disciplines and study branches show the interdisciplinarity, the pioneering mindset and
intermedia border crossing at the Angewandte - be it in the architecture, the visual and media arts, conservation and restoration,
art education and - Pedagogy, in design, in the social design as well as in the language of art.
