The Community College is Kunsthalle Wien’s open space for reflection and
action
for students and young professionals.
The program includes group meetings, discussions, exhibition visits,
workshops, and excursions that connect the artworks and themes presented
at Kunsthalle Wien with personal fields of
interest and social issues.
As a member, you join regular meetings and engage actively and responsibly
in the realization
of projects. You will encounter a place for exchange and networking with people interested in art and discussion, among them
Kunsthalle Wien team members, invited guests and artists.
Who can apply?
Community College is open to
all young people who are interested in „learning by doing“ amidst the current art scene. Many of the activities of the Community
College are self-organized, therefore, a willingness to participate and contribute actively to working together as a group
is recommended.
We welcome all interests, talents and backgrounds.
When does it start?
Now! The meetings
of the Community College take place weekly. It is possible to join any time. From April 2018, the meetings and the program
of the Community College will focus on the development of a project that will be part of the public program of the Kunsthalle
Wien in 2019.
