15 November 2018, 19:30 "AUTODUETT- PARADOXIE ALS STRATEGIE DER RESILIENZ" (Autoduet - Paradox as a Strategy of Resilience) In contrast to psychological self-reflexivity in which short productive episodes of concrete cognitive problem solving are precisely recorded, artistic self reflexivity focuses on those phases in which a person prepares and makes possible these productive episodes. Nikolaus Gansterer, artistic researcher and researcher artist has been working on the latter and responds in real time during the performance AUTODUETT to the introspection exercises of the writer Thomas Raab who in turn responds in his lecture. If the experiment works then there will be a kind of empathic exchange of epistemologies if not then they will remain in their own worlds. The new performance AUTODUETT by artist Nikolaus Gansterer and writer Thomas Raab will take place at Künstlerhaus Wien in the framework of Funkenflug 11 curated by Maria Holter.
