Marc
Damm (*1987, Virgo) is Senior Designer at the Vienna office of Bleed – a design consultancy with international acclaim and
offices in Norway and Austria. His work is mostly settled in visual identity, branding and art direction for clients from
the fields of retail, luxury, culture, arts, architecture & technology. Graduating in 2014 with the concept, design and
publishing of his book project »Designed in Commission of ...« he ever since was curious in the nature of design between personal
passion and professional commission.
For him, the ability to talk and reflect on
design was and will be always an integral part of the discipline itself. On his further research focus he discovers design
as ephemeric variability, stylised abstraction, and everyday experience. Whatever all of this may or may not has to do with
japanese aesthetic philosophy, the Talking Heads, animal decomposition, organ music and the Cheshire Cat, he will refer to
in his talk. Beside this Marc will tell some things about his influences, his process and shows personal work as well as brand
new projects of Bleed.
