Stubenring 3 aims to make activities of the Angewandte accessible to a larger public, and also to
form a network for artists and those interested in art and science from all professions. With the spatial expansion of the
Angewandte in the building of the former P.S.K. of Otto Wagner, where next to the Austrian Academy of Science, departments
of the Johannes-Kepler-University Linz will move in, new interfaces arise between art and science that will be supported by
the Stubenring 3.
The annual membership fee is EUR 35.-.
membership offers the opportunity to participate in a wide range of special events and makes an important contribution to
the promotion of artists affiliated with the Angewandte. Stubenring 3, founded in 1972, is an association
for friends and alumni of the University of Applied Arts Vienna. A new board was elected in 2020.
board consists of the curator and music expert Edek Bartz as a president, and Heike Maier-Rieper, head of the art collection
of the EVN, Ines Turian, managing director of the Franz West WerknutzungsGmbH, and Astrid Behrens, head of the International
