call program 2020/21:
Vienna-based artists are welcome to apply to the Huggy Bears mentoring program with
a
live arts project (performance, theatre, dance, new circus, visual art, transdisciplinary forms).
The
Huggy Bears program provides mentoring in various fields for emerging artists to help professionalize their work.
A
yearlong support that entails studio space as needed, artistic and technical workshops, artistic and administrative counseling,
networking, public showings, sharing and eventually premiering under professional conditions. Through monthly meetings and
showings we will constitute a community of support and care within Huggy Bears. The program aims at creating a challenging
and enriching environment for the artists questioning the developments of our time.
Time
line:
- Deadline for application: 31st of May 2020
- Interviews with shortlisted artists: 21st till
23rd of June 2020
- Decision: End of June 2020
- Duration: October 2020 till the premiers in September 2021
