Fashion
Head
Univ.-Prof. Bernhard Willhelm
In the age of media design and visual information communication, the significance of fashion is growing. Fashion transports social currents, explores future versions and encapsulates zeitgeist in visual terms.
Contemporary fashion design is communicated through diverse and repeatedly changing, top international designers. The creation of collections, which generate aesthetic impulses for this today and assume clear fashion positions, is part of the declared educational goals.
The Fashion Department is currently one of Europes most important fashion schools and the work of the students is published in international magazines such as i-D, Wallpaper, Sureface, Tokion and Interview.
